Colgate
The people often say Colgate in place of toothpaste ,The shopkeeper immediately understands and gives you COLGATE toothpaste.Colgate has replaced the word toothpaste.Its known to be the most famous brand in India.



Pepsi

Coming to beverages ,i found Pepsi dominating other Brands.People in different part of India often uses word Pepsi while asking for cold drink.





Maruti
Whenever the car is mentioned,No doubt Maruti is still the most spoken word in place of Car(Mostly in Rural areas ).I have been to one village, found people using the word Maruti whenever they saw any car.
